When you make an eligible transaction, your Marriott Bonvoy Points will be classed as "Pending" for 14 days. This is to account for any refunds that may occur in that time and ensures that the correct amount of Marriott Bonvoy Points will be applied.
If you receive a refund after this period, we will remove the equivalent Marriott Bonvoy Points earned from that transaction from your balance.
If the value of the removed Marriott Bonvoy Points exceeds your current balance, your balance will go into a negative position and any future earned Marriott Bonvoy Points will work towards bringing your balance into a positive position.
